Do You Already Have An Enhanced DBS Certificate?
Our key priority is safeguarding schools. We can accept a previous dbs certificate but we will:
- Check that your identity matches the details on the certificate
- Make sure that your DBS is at the right level
- Check that you have signed up for the DBS update service
How Do I Join The DBS Update Service?
If you have received a enhanced DBS certificate in the last 30 days you can join the update service. This costs £16. Please follow this link to action this.
What Happens If I Don't Have An Enhanced DBS Certificate?
If an enhanced DBS check is needed we will organise this for you. There is a charge of £64 for this but we refund this charge after you have successfully completed five days of work for us.
The process that we follow for safeguarding schools is:
- We collect and verify your documents.
- You will required to provide further information via our partner site.
- The DBS certificate will be sent to you once the checks have been completed.
- You will be required to upload your DBS certificate onto your profile.
This process can take several weeks.
Keeping Children Safe
All teachers have a responsibility to being involved in safeguarding schools and the young people that they are working with. We apply for new a DBS certificate for each teacher and we expect all supply teachers to have read "Keeping Children Safe in Education".
